Meet Dr. Echt

Dr. Audrey Echt is a board-certified Dermatologist and specializes in Mohs Micrographic surgery. She received her medical degree from Indiana University in 1990. Dr. Echt completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI, followed by a three-year Dermatology Residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. After serving two years as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate, Dr. Echt began her Dermatology private practice in Manhattan. After several years of private practice, Dr. Echt completed a two-year fellowship with the American Society of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery under the leadership of Dr. Dwight Scarborough and Dr. Emil Bisaccia at Affiliated Dermatology, a program affiliated with Columbia University. After all of her extensive training, research, and numerous publications, she moved to Raleigh in 2000 to open her own Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery practice. Dr. Echt specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and surgical excisions for the treatment of skin cancer, as well as current cosmetic treatments.
