Preventative and Corrective Care

Our medically based treatments and products are designed with overall skin health in mind. The first step to healthy skin begins with a consultation to ensure that you are using the proper tools for prevention and maintenance. A combination of home-care products and in-office treatments may be recommended to achieve the best results. The corrective phase of skincare should be very focused on exactly what concerns you most.

Detailed skin consultations precede each treatment to set realistic expectations, ensure maximum benefits and desired results. Healthy skin is our first concern for you. Having beautiful, radiant skin isn’t far behind.

Aesthetic Services and Procedures include:

Chemical Peels & Treatments

We offer a wide array of treatments, utilizing various acids, active ingredients, and combinations of both to reprogram and revitalize your skin. We strive to offer you the most advanced and effective treatments, products and procedures available. Combined with our expertise, these medical strength treatments are highly effective in treating the appearance of acne, photodamage (skin discoloration, such as sun spots, age spots, or blotchiness), melasma, fine lines, and wrinkles. They also help treat mild scarring. A consultation will help determine which treatment is right for you.

Skin Needling

Healthy, beautiful skin starts with collagen. As we age, collagen production slows dramatically, and the first tell tale signs of aging start to creep in. It may be a softening of the jawline, laugh and smile lines or a few fine lines around the mouth. What if you could tell your skin exactly where you want it to be firmer, soften those lines and make more collagen? Skin needling is the art of strategic collagen regeneration.

This treatment is used to treat lines, wrinkles, laxity of skin, scars, including acne scarring, stretch marks, and areas that have lost pigment. Skin needling enhances and promotes the natural production of collagen and elastin. More collagen makes tighter and smoother skin.

Skin needling can be performed on specific lines and wrinkles, tracing over them, directing the skin where to make collagen. Or it can also be performed in broad strokes over a large area, such as the neck or jawline, to get an overall tightening by creating a dense network of new collagen.

Any area of the face and body can be treated and improved. Collagen production begins almost immediately and continues for up to a year. Many patients report the first signs of improvement in as little as a few weeks, while others may take several additional weeks to begin to see noticeable results.

Botox®

Botox Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. It works by blocking the nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes those lines to form between brows. While the results are visible, a treatment with Botox Cosmetic will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look like you’ve “had work done.” Results have been shown to last up to 4 months.

Injectable Fillers

Smile lines. Marionette lines. Call them what you want, but it’s time to draw the line on pesky wrinkles around your mouth and nose. Fillers are a non-surgical treatment to create a more youthful appearance by replacing the facial volume that we lose as we age.

Juvederm® XC and Radiesse® fillers are injected to instantly smooth and soften unwanted lines and wrinkles. We also can add volume to “lift” and rejuvenate where you need it most. Results last up to one year.

Latisse

Latisse is an FDA-approved prescription treatment that gives you longer, fuller and darker eyelashes. It is applied to the base of the eyelashes nightly after makeup has been removed. Results are best after 12-16 weeks of continuous use and will continue for as long as you to use Latisse.

Permanent Makeup

Permanent makeup is a form of tattooing. Iron oxide pigment is implanted into the epidermal layers of the skin. It can be used on the eyelids, eyebrows, lips and for scar camouflage. The hand method used is very gentle and there is very little, if any, bruising, bleeding or swelling. Topical anesthetics are used to numb the area prior to treatment.

There are many factors to be considered in selecting color, shape and style, so a thorough consultation is done prior to treatment. We want to help you find the best enhancements for your face that consider your style and attitude. Natural and defined styles tend to complement and last longer than fashion fads. Your pigment will gradually soften over time and will need to be freshened up every year or two, to keep the color vibrant.
